NTPC Green Energy arm starts commercial operation of 105 MW solar plant

This is only a portion of the whole facility.

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) wholly owned subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has commenced commercial operation of a part of its 105 megawatt (MW) Shajapur Solar Project (Unit-I).

In a bourse filing, NGEL said this development covers the first part capacity of 55 MW out of 105 MW Shajapur sola plant.

The Shajapur Solar Project is located in Shajapur Solar Park, Madhya Pradesh, India. Several companies, including Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Ltd., have signed PPAs for the project.
