CNPV completes solar power project in China

CNPV Solar Power has completed a 7MW solar power project in Shandong Province, China.

CNPV designed, constructed and implemented the $25m project as part of the National Golden Sun Demonstration Project to demonstrate the real-life capability of solar power generation.

The development uses CNPV's high power, high efficiency premium modules, and the project capacity of 7MW exceeds trial projects previously installed as proof of concept.

Power generated from the solar plant can power 8,000 homes and will eliminate 8,000t of CO2 produced each year, or 4,000t per year of coal consumption associated with the traditional, coal-fired generator's equivalent output.
