CTDC completes transparent module BIPV project in China

CTDC has completed its BIPV project at the Ecological Garden in Xiamen Bay, China using its transparent polycrystalline PV modules. The company claims this is first Chinese ecological transparent module BIPV project.

China Technology Development Group or CTDC designed and installed the transparent module BIPV system, which comprises an 18.6kW capacity and will produce 30,000kWh of electricity per year.

"The successful completion of the PV system represents the recognition by the domestic market towards our innovated transparent modules. Looking forward, we will develop various Transparent Modules to cater for different market demands and supply system solutions to clients," said Bruno Diaz Herrera, chief technology officer of CTDC.
